Behler Publications is a small commercial press based in Southern California. We publish nonfiction and also strong fiction that includes chic lit, literary fiction (but nothing so literary you can't make heads or tails of it), and good commercial fiction.
Behler Publications is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Lynn and Fred Price. Lynn’s years of writing and research made her the natural choice of running the Acquisitions and Marketing departments. Conversely, Fred’s MBA and finance degrees from USC, along with thirty years of running major projects in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Russia with the petrochemical industry gave Behler Publications an organized operating system with an eye on budgeting upcoming projects.

Dorchester Publishing is an independent publisher of mass-market fiction specializing in romance, thrillers, horror, and westerns. It is a house noted for its award-winning authors and willingness to push genre boundaries. We accept both agented and unagented submissions and publish approximately 15-20 new authors every year.
Leah Hultenschmidt has been with Dorchester Publishing for more than five years. After several years in Public Relations and Promotions, she's now back to doing what she loves most-editing books. Leah heads the Making It line for chick lit and also works on historical, paranormal, futuristic, time-travel, and just about any other kind of romance. Harlequin Enterprises Limited is the world's leading publisher of
romance fiction and women's fiction, with highly recognizable
imprints--Harlequin, Silhouette, MIRA Books, Red Dress Ink, LUNA Books,
HQN Books and Steeple Hill Books. Harlequin publishes close to 110
titles a month in 27 languages in 95 international markets on six
continents. These books offer women a broad range of reading from
romance to psychological thrillers to relationship novels. Ultimately,
however, it is the fact that Harlequin creates entertaining and
enriching experiences for women to enjoy, to share and return to that
drives the company's success and enables Harlequin to push the
boundaries of women's fiction.
Assistant Editor Jessica Alvarez has been with Harlequin/Silhouette
Books for five years. She started out working on Harlequin Historicals
and Steeple Hill, and has since worked on nearly every series that comes
out of Harlequin's New York office, including Harlequin NEXT, HQN Books
and Red Dress Ink. Currently, she's actively looking for romantic
suspense books for Silhouette Intimate Moments, but always loves to see
stories appropriate for any of Harlequin's lines and imprints.
